PGA Tour reveals 8-event FedEx Cup fall schedule
Ludvig Aberg of Sweden follows through on his drive at the 10th tee of the Sea Island Club Seaside Course on Saturday in the third round of the RSM Classic. Aberg leads by one shot over Eric Cole. The PGA Tour confirmed the eight official events on the 2024 FedEx Cup fall schedule on Monday.
The stretch will serve as the final chance for players to secure or improve their status for the 2025 season.
This is the second year of the FedEx Cup fall format, which begins in mid-September at the Napa Valley Golf Championship and ends with The RSM Classic in late November.
"With more at stake than ever before, the 2023 FedEx Cup fall produced compelling storylines and meaningful competition from start to finish," said Tyler Dennis, the tour's chief competitions officer. "As we approach year two of the FedEx Cup fall, we appreciate the continued commitment and support of all our title sponsors and tournament organizers in working together to produce an exciting conclusion to the 2024 golf calendar."
The fall slate will finalize top-125 eligibility for next season, providing exempt status for all full-field events plus a spot in The Players Championship.
Benefits for fall tournament winners include a two-year tour exemption, 500 FedExCup points and entry into the season-opening The Sentry, The Players and all majors that have invited PGA Tour winners in the past.
